First seen in the West End in 1997, but now completely revised in this brand new production created to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the London Blitz. From Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and Broadway’s West Side Story to Bollywood's Josh, the tension of forbidden love has caused thrill and heartbreak throughout the ages. Srishti’s new production explores fighting forces that seem impossible to conquer. Continuing the company’s established style of a male-dominated cast, Love is in the Air is an innovative piece combining modern film, aerial work and live music with the traditional form of Bharatanatyam. Featuring choreography by 2006 Place Prize winner Nina Rajarani MBE, and magnetic live music created by composer and vocalist Y Yadavan, Love is in the Air is a collaboration with aerial specialists from Scarabeus.
