A Play by Willy Russell The play Blood Brothers is seldom performed after it was turned into a successful musical. The story concerns twin brothers who were separated at birth and brought up by natural and adoptive mothers, one in working class conditions and the other as middle class. Set originally in Liverpool, the brothers reunite and the more affluent tries to help the less fortunate with a job and housing, but they both ‘share’ their love for the discontented Linda resulting in jealousy and hate. A hard hitting, but often funny play with a melodramatic ending. Directed by Rob Finn
