Book Tickets for Forces Sweethearts in Richmond from Thu, 28th October 2010
Forces Sweethearts
Richmond Theatre, Richmond
Thu, 28th October 2010 - Thu, 28th October 2010
From £11.00*

Forces Sweethearts has been wowing audiences since 1995 and for 2009 they have a new show featuring all the old favourites - Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Marlene Dietrich, Carmen Miranda and Anne Shelton - plus some new surprises! Beryl, Janice and Jenny are our three sweethearts who bring you a two-hour show with all your favourite songs from the female vocalists that helped raise morale during the wartime forties. We’ll also hear from the demob sweethearts - Alma Cogan, Ruby Murray, Doris Day and Lena Horne - remembering the early days of the post-war years. There’ll be a singalong with George Formby and his ukulele and bees will buzz with Arthur Askey. We’ll also remember the American favourites - The Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Judy Garland and Deanna Durbin. As always, this show is certain to have audiences singing along from beginning to end.
