On this adventure to some of Englands most historic places and scenic countryside, you will see Harry Potter locations including his adopted home at Privet Drive in Little Whinging, the University of Oxford and the village of Lacock. As we tour Harry Potter locations between London and Oxfordshire you will see sites which were either used in actual scenes from Hogwarts School or served as an inspiration to the film makers. As you tour Harry Potter locations you'll realise that it is hungry and thirsty work, so you'll get the opportunity to stop for lunch at a pub linked with the famous boy wizard and give you time to stretch your legs and soak up the history. Learn how the films were made, discuss the books and hear trivia about the magical world of Harry Potter. Along the way youll have the chance to get off the bus, take pictures and see the locations up close. Feel free to dress up as Harry or any other character in the series (only if you want to). On the tour Harry Potter trivia questions will be asked so keep your spell book handy as we want to test you knowledge of spells and see how well you know Harry, Ron and Hermione. At the end of the tour Harry Potter fans will no doubt have worked up an appetite on this magic pilgrimage to wizard locations and well finish at Planet Hollywood in Haymarket in central London where you can receive a 20 0iscount on any food or drink. Please note: As Lacock Abbey is closed on Fridays between November and February the tour itinerary will change accordingly. Tour highlights include Tour Harry Potter sites used for Hogwarts and walk in the footsteps of the boy wizard himself. Visit the inspiration for the Hogwarts dining room. See the house used as the home of James and Lily Potter in Godric's Hollow, where they were murdered by Lord Voldemort. Enter the Harry Potter locations used as Professor Snapes potion room and the Hogwarts corridors. Find the spot where Harry was picked up by the Knight Bus. Walk up the same stairs where Mrs McGonagall (Maggie Smith) first greeted Harry and other new Hogwarts students. Stand in the same room where Professor Quirrell taught his Defence Against the Dark Arts class. See the Dursley's family home at Privet Drive as seen in Philosopher's Stone / Sorcerer's Stone Meeting Point: Coach parking area, Park Lane, (Hyde Park side), London. 5-10 minutes walk north from Hyde Park Corner tube station. A guide will stand outside the vehicle with a clapper board. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure. However, the tour company are very happy to arrange tours for anyone with impaired mobility subject to advance notice and exact requirements.
