Including music from: Harry James • Benny Goodman • Tommy Dorsey • Duke Ellington • Glenn Miller • Count Basie • Woody Herman & Buddy Rich The World's Greatest Big Band and Swing Show spotlight a series of first class soloists from each Instrumental section, covering the famous solos as played by the original bandleaders. The use of Sinatra's vocal charts leads the audience on a musical journey from one band leader to another. Frank Sinatra began his career with Harry James’ outfit before moving onto Tommy Dorsey's band. Later on in his career, Sinatra recorded with Duke Ellington, and performed and recorded with Count Basie in the Sands, Las Vegas and with Woody Herman at the Madison Square Garden's. This is a tremendous show with outstanding musicians that will appeal to the many big band fans.
