Seven years gone in a flash, and we have seen and heard so many musicians over the years. Returning to our roots, and our ongoing promotion of local talent, we are delighted to announce the evening’s top billing goes to the Mike Walker Sextet. All these guys are local, they are revered in the Jazz world and many of them teach here at The Music Place summer school. Joining Mike will be Les Chisnall, Iain Dixon, Pat Illingworth, Adrian Edmonstone and Steve Watts. A stellar line up for an evening of jazz funk and some great blues. Support will be from local pianist Jamie Safiruddin.
