Discover how animals terrify their enemies, establish their territories and forage for food by hiding, spitting and changing colour in Scare Tactics – The Show and learn what it takes to survive in the wild. Ever wondered what it takes to move millions of reindeer or motivate the bar headed goose to fly over Everest? Join in the Migration Madness in our interactive talk to find out. Or why not showcase your spooky skills in our half-term pumpkin carving workshop or jump aboard the Halloween Express, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s very own ghost train, to hear superstitious animal tales. Don’t miss the Ghosts of Madagascar Junior Lemur talk jam-packed with fascinating facts about the inhabitants of our brand new walkthrough exhibit, In with Lemurs. Not to mention a special Halloween-themed Birds of the World demonstration, Sealion Splash and the chance to ‘do’ lunch with those peckish penguins.
