Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (w/Elizabeth Watts)
Cadogan Hall, London
Tue, 20th November 2007 - Tue, 20th November 2007
From £10.00*

Meet the artists, pre concert talk from 6.20pm presented by Edward Seckerson (Chief Music Critic, Independent and BBC presenter). Elizabeth Watts, the most recent winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Award, performs a selection of mouth-watering Mozart arias and some of Richard Strauss’s most delectable vocal settings. Strauss’s swaggering and ripely Romantic orchestra depiction of the womanisng Don Jan contrasts with the evergreen music that Mendelssohn composed for Shakespeare’s play. Conductor - Dmitry Sitkovetsky Soprano - Elizabeth Watts Performance Times: 7.30pm
