Prepare yourself for a gastronomic treat at this year’s BBC Good Food Show, 28 Nov - 2 Dec 2007, The NEC, Birmingham. This year’s show not only has all the usual fantastic show areas, including our celebrity theatres, as well as the ever popular BBC Good Food magazine Great British Food Theatre, a wealth of local producers in The Great British Food Festival and Henrietta Greens FoodLovers Fair, a huge selection of sumptuous beverages in Drinks...The Fine, Wine, Beer and Spirits Show. Or if you’re a beer fan we have returning in 2007 CAMRA the Great British Beer Experience where tickets will be available in advance for the first time for this experience. Plus we have even more gourmet gifts, gadgets and accessories than you can shake a stick at. We also have a host of new and exciting features, guaranteeing a delicious day out for foodie connoisseurs everywhere! NEW for this year, you will automatically be offered a FREE session in the either the Supertheatre, with live demonstrations from the best chefs in the UK including Gordon Ramsay, James Martin, Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein, or in the Drinks Theatre, where you can sample drinks with experts such as Matt Skinner, Oz Clarke and Sarah Jane Evans (both subject to availability). We also have a new edition to our theatres with the Producers Tasting Theatre, where you can taste top regional produce and get a chance of a one to one with the many producers. This year also sees the arrival of the Birmingham Bites Dining Pavilion, where you can sample the exquisite menus from a selection of the cities top eateries. The Gordon Ramsay Scholar Awards will also be returning for the 2007 event, where up to 40 hopefuls battle it out in front a panel of judges, including Gordon Ramsay himself, for a much sought after place in the grand final which takes place live at the show. CHILDREN • Children (6-16) pay adult price. • Children under 5 are FREE of charge but do need a ticket to get into the show. Their ticket will however not give them a seat into the supertheatre. They will need to sit on their parents lap.
