Swan Lake The Coliseum, London Tue, 8th January 2008 - Sat, 19th January 2008 From £10.00*Swan Lake “Altogether a company triumph” The Sunday Times Swan Lake brings the romance and high drama of the grand Russian ballet tradition alive. Perhaps the most famous of all ballets, it tells the story of Prince Siegfried’s love for the Swan Queen, Odette, and their battle against the evil magician, Rothbart. Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, which undoubtedly features some of the most beautiful music in the classical ballet repertoire, is played by the full Orchestra of English National Ballet and the dramatic story line, spectacular sets and costumes and technically brilliant dancing from the Company’s 64 dancers make this ballet unmissable. This production runs for approximately three hours including a pause after Act I, and two intervals of 20 minutes each.
