This tour takes in the historical, political and industrial history of Belfast including: Stormont Parliament Estate, Titanic quarter at the old Harland and Wolff Shipyard showing the birthplace of the World’s most famous liner, and the new Waterfront area. Other sites of interest are the City Hall, Queen’s University, St Anne’s Cathedral and Albert Memorial Clock. A visit to the contrasting residential areas with murals and peace walls show political and religious difficulties, while Belfast Castle gives a panoramic view over the city from the old home of Lord Donegall on the slopes of the famous Cave Hill.
