Warwick Castle & Ghost Alive
Warwick Castle, Warwick
Sun, 7th October 2007 - Mon, 31st March 2008
From £13.95*

THE GHOST TOWER - AND IT’S LIVE FROM 1ST APRIL WITH WARWICK GHOSTS ALIVE Take a creepy tour around the 14th century Ghost Tower, once occupied by Sir Fulke Greville who is said to haunt the tower to this day, but beware it will be “alive” from 1st April! Using a terrifying mix of live actors, sound, visual and light effects the story of Sir Fulke Greville’s tragic murder is recreated. Welcomed by the creepy doorman, guests enter through a sinister creaking door. As soon as their eyes adjust to the darkness the scares begin to come thick and fast as they witness Sir Fulke’s murder at the hands of his disgruntled servant, Ralph Haywood, who then turns his dagger upon himself. Warwick Ghosts - Alive is screamingly good fun but guests are advised that its scary content may make it unsuitable for children under eight or anyone of a nervous disposition. OCTOBER: HALLOWEEN 20th – 28th October With haunted towers and turrets inhabited by a host of ghouls and un-earthly creatures, the scene is set for a horrible half term at Warwick Castle as guests turn ghost busters in the midst of some seriously supernatural goings on from 20th – 28th October. Using the latest paranormal apparatus, ghost hunters will be running experiments testing out some of the Castle’s most infamous spook stories and exposing some tricks of the paranormal trade. Guests can join in too and see what science has to reveal about the supernatural. Those tough enough can test their mettle on a ghost hunt up the Castle’s ancient Mound - over 1000 years old but alive and kicking with spirits and spooks – and only the brave should undertake the ultimate ghostly experience, Warwick Ghosts – Alive. Maxing out the scares for Halloween, live actors, sound, visual and light effects bring to life the story of the castle’s most famous ghost, Sir Fulke Greville, in the infamous Ghost Tower. Inside the castle itself, hear the grisly stories of the untimely deaths of some of its residents while young ghostbusters can seek out the answers to our spooky quiz.
