Stars and Angels by arrangement with Tony Denton Promotions present SANDRA BERNHARD. In her own voice, unfiltered, Bernhard is a living, breathing bonfire. New York Times One moment, (Bernhard’s) voice is lulling you into a wistful sigh; the next, she’s knocking you back several rows with it. -San Francisco Weekly For 25 years, Sandra Bernhard has been challenging fans and critics with her knife-edged humor, satire and emotive performances on film, television and stage. For the first time in six years Tony Denton Promotions brings Sandra back to the UK to tour her brand new hit Broadway show Everything Bad & Beautiful. Produced by Grammy Award winner, Cynthia Daniels, Everything Bad & Beautiful is a real kind of conglomeration of political, personal and popular culture observations woven into a show. The album of the same name, available via her website www.sandrabernhard.com, contains not only the powerful material from the live show, but also brand new music and video footage. The album, that includes the single "Forever," was produced by Mark Saunders (Cyndi Lauper, The Cure, Depeche Mode and Shiny Toy Guns). Her first film role was in 1983 in the Martin Scorsese film, The King of Comedy that also starred Jerry Lewis and Robert De Niro, other film credits include Inside Monkey Zetterland, Hudson Hawk and Dinner Rush. From 1991-1996, she portrayed Nancy on the hit TV show, Roseanne. She has guest starred in many other major US TV shows including Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope and Will & Grace. She has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman, as well as The Tonight Show, Rosie O’Donnell and The View. In 2001, Bernhard hosted her own talk show, The Sandra Bernhard Experience. Along with writing for performance, Bernhard has put her musings into book form. Currently working on her fourth collection, her books, just as her shows, are full of personal insights, introspective rants, prose and essays.
