Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice is one of the world’s most successful musicals and many people are familiar with it having performed in it at school. Now you can enjoy it like never before, as you dance in the aisles and sing-a-long to every wonderful word. Sing-a-long-a Joseph takes the multi-million pound film of the original stage show and gives it the inimitable Sing-a-long-a treatment. Your host for the evening will lead you through a vocal warm-up, take you through your free ‘magic moments’ pack and suggest some fun actions and heckles for you to join in with. Then, as always, YOU are the stars of the show, as you sing your hearts out to the on-screen lyrics. The film features heart-throb Donny Osmond, plus a host of favourite stars including Joan Collins, Richard Attenborough and Christopher Biggins. Dip into the wardrobe of your imagination and surprise us with your creation. The pre-show There is a 30-minute pre-film show during which the host leads you through a vocal warm-up, prepares you for special moments throughout the film and judges the fancy dress competition. Everyone receives a free goody bag with special props for the “magic moments” that make the evening go with a bang. Running time With pre-show, Sing-a-long-a Joseph show lasts about 2 hours 30 mins, with an interval. The interval This takes place after about one and a quarter hours and lasts for 15 minutes. Most venues we play at have a bar, which is usually open throughout the evening. Film Certificate Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a U certificate film in the UK and so is suitable for all ages. It is a great family film, although it is possible that, especially at later shows, that the audience’s contributions may be lively – remember that the first rule of Sing-a-long-a is THERE ARE NO RULES!
